Drum brake bleeder?

Drum brake bleeder?

I went to bleed my drum brakes but theres no nut on the bleeder valve, has anyone ever seen this?

How do you bleed these brakes?

Hmmm I figured out it'sa 8mm nut inset, but I can't seem to get a 8mm socket in past the rusty chunk of steel around it...
