Metric vs Standard Rear Cylinder
Hello, I'm looking at replacing the rear drum brake cylinders on my 1986 firebird, and was wondering if the threads on the cylinders are standard, or metric. Thanks in advance.

Re: Metric vs Standard Rear Cylinder
In late '84 or early '85 the wheel cylinders were metric, so yours should be metric...

Re: Metric vs Standard Rear Cylinder
They are metric, and be careful as the standard thread 1/8-27 is really close and will screw together to some extent.
