wheel cylinder replacement?

wheel cylinder replacement?

how hard is it to replace a rear wheel cylinder on a 92 camaro..drum brake car...i can do fronts no prob but have never attempted rear brakes with drums before...is there a how to on here anywhere...thanks

I just did this very thing on my 83 Trans Am that has rear drum brakes. the wheel cylinder is only about $15 bucks or so, so it pretty cheap.with it you will get a clip, that clip is all that holds the wheel cylinder in place.disconnect your brake line first however and then go after the clip.the clip is actually pretty hard to see, just look where the bleeder is and thats where it is. this was the first time for me to and I was very happily surprised at just how easy it all was to change out.

thanks man someone told me that it was the axle seal leaking but i have to rebuild my front end tom and i'll check out the rear for myself tomorrow....thanks
