C5 backing plate part numbers

Well, Long story short, I am converting my 87 drum car over to C% vette rear disk. The kit I got from Fly N Bye is wrong. All phone calls have not been returned. Ive decided to source the parts and make the brackets myself, as I would like to retain the parking brake. I cannot find the part numbers for the C5 backing plate and emergency brake shoes, etc. anywhere on the internet, ot in the forum using the search feature. Any have any info on this? Alos, I guess I have c5 backing plate and spacers for a four bolt flange rear diff for sale now...

Re: C5 backing plate part numbers

C5 and C6 brake components are interchangeable. Part numbers may or may not be the same, though, due to different generations, or simply because part numbers often get updated throughout the years. Not sure how these will work with your conversion, but here are actual C5/C6 parking brake assemblies, modified to work with backing plates for 3rdgen axles. Since your axle has drums, I'm assuming and linking 10-bolt, but 9-bolt conversion is available too. Scott at BBU is always happy to answer questions and help people with their brake upgrades. And he can probably help you sort things out with your existing parts, too.

It used to be easy to find at the link below but He's changed the site so you're going to have to hunt through it all.

Keep in mind there is no factory part number of backing plate for corvette brakes to 3rd gen. It's all custom made. And the factory GM Corvette stuff is out of production.
