Engine: 377 AFR195 750DP Solid cam 10.25:1
Transmission: TH/350 3200 stall spohn conversion
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.42:1 Eaton Trutrac.
1982 z/28 master cylinder bore size please

does anyone know the piston diameter of the master cylinder on a stock V8 z/28

It's about 1 inch bore diameter. But there is a quick take-up valve that is larger so it will appear larger when you look at it from the back side but internally it's actually a 1 inch bore where the high pressure braking occurs.

I just got one for my 82 TA and the rear bore diameter depended on if you had disc or drum rears.

Service parts for four wheel disc (J65) and Euro export use a secondary piston 18006833.

Other cars, described as vacuum power brake (J50), use secondary piston 18006832.

Figure out the difference between those and you've got your answer.
