Wilwood brake pad install

I purchased the Wilwood 150-8936K Street Performance BP-10 pads for the front with my stock calipers. There are no clips/hardware with them. I called the tech line and the gentleman said the anti-rattle clips are not needed. Is the tech guy correct?

Well they make the pads so I guess you have to believe the guy
