Is this normal?
I have always been fortune enough to have someone else do the bench bleeding of the master cylinder in the past. I am doing it for the first time myself and wondering is this normal. 1983 Z28 with a transplanted 87 305 TPI, upgraded to a rear disc brake axle (supposedly from a GTA and it fit in no problems no mods needed). Followed the supplied instructions with the master cylinder - attached little plastic hose barbs into the ports, ran the hose up into the master cylinder with the supplied clips. Added brake fluid and worked the piston back and forth slowly until I got no air bubbles. Once I was done, the ports started to drip brake fluid. I installed the proportioning valve and after a little bit, those ports were dripping brake fluid. I used the supplied plastic hose barbs, tubing and plugs to keep it from dripping everywhere. I do not have the brake lines or hoses installed yet. I upgraded to stainless steel because the old ones were extremely rusted.
I have watched several videos about bench bleeding, but in none did I see the ports dripping from either the master cylinder or proportioning valve when they were done. Is this normal (the dripping) or what am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance!

Re: Is this normal?
Yes dripping is normal. There's nothing to keep the fluid from falling out except the lines, which if they're not there, the fluid falls out.
