91 Camaro w/ 454 motor, over 400 HP <READ>
I have a 1991 Camaro RS for sale. Motor is a 454 which is RARE in a 3rd gen ! Comes with a 4 barrell carb, 5 speed tranny built to hold the motor, and custom gauges mounted in the cowl hood. Paint is black and is like an 8 out of 10. Interiors is in good condition for a 15 year old car. T-tops, 17 inch chrome wheels, full stereo with 2 subs, 2 amps, and a cd changer. Power Everything, tints, etc. Car is a must see and drive. Estimated HP is well over 400. Located in the Bronx, NY
Have it listed in several places for $6500, but the car is a MUST SELL and I will consider all reasonable offers.
I can be reached at email address: djdaveali@aol.com or cell phone number 347.203.8749

Car: 91 RS
Engine: 305
Transmission: T-5
dont you remember that motor, and of course a t-5 could handle a big block, they only have 500+ lb. ft. of torque and for a trans that cant handle small block 350. so yes it is very INTERESTING

Why are you guys flaming the post? He didnt say it came with the 454 option...he just had it had a 454...which isnt exactly a common motor swap. I mean, did I miss something here?

whos to say that its even a t-5 behind that 454? it could be a heavy duty 5 speed from something else.. 454 would be pretty sweet, got any engine bay pics?

454 motor
The 454 was dropped in last summer, its not the original motor and i'm not a mechanic, but the guy i used rebuilt the tranny (i dont know exactly what he did) but I blew 2 regular 5 speeds b4 I had him build this tranny to hold the motor. Car runs and drives great...could use a bigger carb to dump more gas and prob get the mst out of the motor, but it shift nicely and is in very good condition

No you cant use V6 mounts for a V8 engine, especially 2.8. do some research in this site on engine swaps from V6 to V8 and you'll get a better idea on that. but as for a 454 in a third gen...F*** yeah!!!! If I was in your area I'd be buying in a quickness. Good luck man...

I've always wanted to drop in a 454 and put SS454 badges on the side. Man I wish i was in New York cause I would be driving that thing all over with an empty wallet.
