84 Camaro with 350 LT1 engine and T56 6 speed trans; Great Condition

I am selling my 1984 Chevrolet Camaro. This Camaro originally had a V6 engine with an automatic transmission when I bought it. The V6 has been replaced with a LT1 350 engine from a 1995 Firebird Trans Am car. The LT1 engine had 40,000 miles on it when I purchased it. The automatic transmission was replaced with a T56 6 speed transmission from a 1994 Camaro Z28. The T56 transmission had 50,000 miles on it when I purchased it. The car runs great, starts right up, is fast, and is very fun to drive.

The car has been driven minimally since the engine and transmission swap. In total, the car has around 8,000 miles on it since the engine and transmission swap. Both the engine and transmission have been well taken care of with oil changes using only synthetic oil. Although this car has not been dyno-tested for horsepower, the LT1 engine came stock with 275 horsepower and with the current exhaust and intake modifications on this car it should now have 300+ horsepower. On top of this, this car has passed the vehicle emissions test for the state of Maryland.

The car was originally white and was also repainted white less than 2 years ago. The interior and exterior of this Camaro are in good condition with a few imperfections. The car has had many new parts and upgrades in addition to the engine and transmission swap. A detailed description of the vehicle is below:

Exterior

-17 X 9.5 Chrome Corvette ZR1 Rims
-89 Camaro IROC bodykit(Front Valence, Side Skirts, Rear Trim)
-Artic White Paint with Black around headlights and on hood(less than 2 years old)
-KC Fog lights
-Front bumper and Front body kit valence have a few spots where the paint has been scraped off; these are shown in the pictures
-Passengers side Rear Taillight has a spot in the bottom left corner that has been broken; this is shown in the pictures below
-There is a very minor spot of surface rust right around the antenna, it is also pictured below

Interior
-Converted from original blue interior to black
-Black Power Leather Front and Rear Seats from a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am
-New Black Carpet (has a few small brown spots behind passengers seat, covered by floor mats and barely noticeable without the floormats; otherwise the carpet is perfect)
-Blue Interior Panels were Repainted Black (These have some scratches on them where blue paint shows through)
-6 speed Hurst Shifter w/ white ****
-CD Player
-Nordskog Digital Speedometer and Tachometer
-T-top bag
-Needs a headliner, Sun visors, and dome light
-The rear passengers side seat belt isn't working correctly
-There is a small crack in the far end of the dash board. This is pictured below.

Drivetrain
-350 LT1 engine
-BorgWarner T56 six speed transmission
-Moroso Cold Air Induction kit
-Magnaflow Dual Exhaust
-Rebuilt 3.91 Gears Limited Slip Rearend
-New Radiator
-New clutch was bought and installed when installing 6 speed transmission
-new water pump
-Also has numerous other parts that were needed to convert from v6 auto to LT1 T56(LT1 computer, wiring harness, new fuel pump, Linkage, flywheel, etc.)

I am located in Annapolis, MD. I am willing to show the vehicle to interested buyers so please email me to arrange a time. I am also willing to drive up to 100 miles to deliver the vehicle to the buyer.

PRICE
I could part out the car and sell the Leather seats, ZR1 wheels and tires, and LT1 T56 drivetrain for at least $4,000. Price is $5,000 or best offer.

Pictures will be coming within the next few days
My email is ballen@umd.edu; Please email me with any questions

Please email me at ballen@umd.edu if interested for more pictures, questions, or to arrange a time to view the car in person. Questions can also be posted here and I will check it periodically.

The exterior looks sweet. If I had room for another thirdgen and weren't working on the ones i have, i probably would buy it. A 95 LT1/T56 combo is just awesome. I'd expect it to sell.

The Engine bay of this car is fine. I think some people who are posting on this thread and criticizing the enigine bay are acting like I'm asking $10,000 for the car. This isn't a show car and I'm not asking for show car money for it. However, this Camaro is in very good condition, it runs very well, it has an LT1 with a T56 6 Speed and I'm only asking $4500 for it. If anyone is interested in buying the car, please post on this thread or email me at ballen@umd.edu with questions or to set up a time to view the car in person.

Its a cool ride, for $4500 I would clean the engine bay myself for that good of a deal! I guess others aren't able to clean and paint??!! Dont take less then $4500, just hold on to it!

I was only planning on asking $4500 for mine, but if you sell your car with your engine bay looking like that.. Then I think I'll try and sell mine for $5500... Your car is why thirdgenners get a bad rep.. Why would you go that far on such a cool looking car, then leave the engine bay looking like crap..? Maybe no one has shown you the potential your engine bay could have..

yours

mine

Now take a rag and a few hours and clean that thing up!!
