How much you looking at? Edmunds says : Trade in-$610; Private Party- $1,081; dealer- $1,892. Kelly Blue Book private party value: Excellent condition $2,580; good $2,320; fair $1,882. Try doing a search for classic car values. They will probably try to give you the actual book on the car but sometimes if you push them they wil go up. My wife had a 88 'Stang back in 96 with only 58k miles all original, 5.0 T5 tranny, t-tops, loaded! It got totaled due to about $6k damage, we gave $7500 and the insurance tried one on me and wanted to give me about $5k and had a $500 deductible. I told them straight BULL CRAP! They tried to tell me that the car wasn't worth much more than that so I told her she didn't know cars because ther were plenty of then out there for $8 to $10k and she made me fax a copy of the BOS to prove that I gave $7500, she then decided I was telling the truth and paid the car off.
