*Sold* 91 RS Auto V8 31k ORIGINAL MILES *Sold*

Please read this entire post first. The second one shows my asking price and gives you a link to view all the pics!
Always garage kept (since I have owned it) and adult owned. 91 RS V8 5.0 TBI, Hardtop, Auto Tranny, power windows, locks, PS, PB, CC (and it actually works!), power rear pull down hatch with switch in the center console, auto trunk light, AC, rear defroster for the rear hatch that works, split folding rear seats, driver’s side air bag etc. 31k Original Miles! I am the second owner of this car. I purchased the car with 19k original miles from the original owner in Long Beach, CA. I pulled a CarFax to make sure it was all original and sure enough it is. I still have that copy of the CarFax if you would like to see it along with the Smog report, it passed with flying colors. This car has never failed Smog according to the CarFax report, which for a 3rdgen Camaro is very rare. This car even has the original plates, never changed, just like new from 91! This car gets a solid 17-18 mpg in the city, and 25-27 on the freeway. When I drove 900 miles to Idaho on way I got 33 mpg! On the way back it wasn’t as good, but for an almost 2k mile round trip I would say it averaged a solid 29 mpg. Fresh oil and filter change just done. All exterior and interior lights works. All gauges work including the trip odometer.

Here is a list of things I have done to the care since purchased by me.

Almost every single sensor has been replaced with brand new ones, not used or picknpull parts. The only sensor not replaced is the spark control module and MAP sensor. However the MAP sensor did go bad on me but a buddy with the same generation car had an extra low mileage GM one that we used, works like new. A complete new distributer was installed, spark plugs were replaced with new GM ones and the plug wires and distributer cap and rotor were replaced as well. New tires, about 12k on them now, freshly rotated and rebalanced, has the original stock 15” wheels. Alignment was done at a local Chevy dealer after the new tires were put on. New German style windshield wiper blades.

A throttle body rebuild kit was installed, this replaces all gaskets and screens and o-rings etc. on the hard lines and fuel injectors. I also installed a fuel injector spacer on the throttle body. I did NOT do the throttle body spacer that goes in between it and the intake manifold though. New serpentine belt, all new radiator hoses with a New GM thermostat. New GM water pump. With the electric radiator fan even during these CA 100 degree plus summer days this car never hits 220, runs very cool. The rear end was completely serviced at a local GM dealer and a new differential cover and gasket were installed as well, all new GM parts. I also at the same dealer had the transmission completely flushed with new GM pan and filter and gasket. Power Steering system was completely flushed and serviced as well. New GM rear hatch pull down motor. New hood and rear hatch struts. Dealer also resealed the intake manifold with new GM gaskets. New GM front grill. I do have the front license plate and bracket, just didn’t want to install it until I get a ticket for it. Passenger window motor didn’t work, so a New GM one was installed. A new GM headlight switch assembly was also installed. Also installed were new GM horn contacts. This car doesn’t leak a single drop of any sort of fluid, which again is very rare for these cars!

Some upgrades to the car are a CARB CA Smog Legal Cat Back Edelbrock 3” Full Mandrel Bent Performance exhaust system. I had dual 2 ½” tips welded on to the muffler to give it a stock look. Also installed is an Edelbrock black powder coated 3 point strut tower brace, Global West black powder coated wonder bar. New KYB gas shocks and struts. Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs all around, lowered the car about 1”. Clear side and front marker lenses with yellow LED lights.

Parts I have but not yet installed, all parts are new! New GM front bumper emblem. Moog center link, New GM Z28 power steering ratio gear box. New GM door handles. New GM seat belt guides that attach to the head liner. 2 New GM power window switches, one has some of the yellow lettering worn off. 2 New GM vents that go in the door jams. New GM dome light lens for the headliner dome light. New GM screws that go where the rear plastics are, along with the new GM clips where the screws go into to help realign the rear plastics. The cigarette lighter was replaced and the original push button lighter with the yellow lettering won’t fit into the new housing, but I have the old one. New GM fuel pump and sending unit, along with new fuel tank straps and the bolts and bolt retainers, and the new strainer for the fuel pump as well, also have a new lock ring for the fuel pump. New GM idler arm or it’s the pitman arm, I can’t remember what it’s called, it’s the one that does NOT attach to the steering gear box. New GM rear view mirror, this car came stock with map lights with buttons for them as well, and so does the new one. New Transgo shift kit. New GM retainers for the A pillars. The pic of the passenger side seat track cover that is cracked I also have a new GM part for. New GM air dam diffuser. New GM windshield molding. I have a new stereo system installed as well, all speakers etc. This car had the original GM stereo and speakers, but the wires for the stock stereo were NOT cut up, including the stock speaker wires, adapters were used everywhere. The driver’s side rear view mirror inside manual adjustment **** is broken off. But I found a very nice used mirror, GM discontinued it.

A new air cleaner filter has been installed and oil changed every 3k miles or 3 months, whichever came first. I did have the EGR go bad, so a New GM EGR and the EGR solenoid were replaced, along with a New GM smog pump. New gas tank cap. So there is NO reason this car won’t pass smog!

Known issues, the front driver’s side brake caliper needs to be replaced. AC doesn’t work, but heater works perfect and so does the rear defroster for the rear hatch. Honestly other than that this car is probably the most sound mechanically 3rdgen Camaro you will ever find! The only reason I purchased a new fuel pump and sending until was when I first bought the car I was having trouble with the idle. Took it to the dealer and discovered it was the distributer. But I had already bought the other parts. So they are yours to have just in case. The third brake light doesn’t work, just needs new bulbs.

The front hood was hit, but I have an extra one as you can see in the pics, and it’s actually the original color the car is supposed to be. The gap between the hood and front bumper is caused not just from the hood but also a bracket being bent in the hit. I have both sides New GM brackets to fix this. I also have a New GM radiator cowl as you can see it’s cracked. Driver’s door has a pretty big dent, but at least it’s a solid dent and not all creased up, other than that you can’t find a more straight body 3rdgen for this age. This car sat for 5 years in Long Beach and the salt air has taken a toll on the paint. This car was repainted by the original owner and it was a very cheap one, probably one stage for sure. There is some minor surface rust, nothing major in my opinion as you can see from the pics. Another thing from sitting is it does blow blue smoke on cold starts from sitting for 5 years, the valve seals need to be replaced. Windshield has a rock chip, and the dash has 3 cracks in the driver’s side speaker grill. Also as you can see the headliner needs to be replaced. The driver’s seat has rips and rear seats have holes from smoking in it. I have never smoked in this car. Problem is the 80 ish year old original owner smoked in it. But you would be shocked because you can’t smell the smoke at all. When I purchased the car I had a complete shampoo job done inside the car and it smells like new! Does have some stains on the front carpet and floor mats, which are the original GM ones when the car was new.

Hey guys, I must sell my baby due to extreme financial issues. Makes me want to cry, but I don't want to go into much more detail.

The link below will show you all the pics, there are 3 pages of pics, so make sure to look at them all! Asking $3000 obo. Please PM me if you are interested or if you have any questions or need more pics etc. You can also e-mail me directly at william.paschane@sbcglobal.net, that's usually the fastest way to get a hold of me.

Buyer is responsible for smog, sold AS-IS. Tags are paid until July 2011, I have the pink in hand! I am located in Northern CA in the Sacramento area.

Thanks,
Will
