1987 Yellow Iroc-Z, L98 - SOLD
Car has been sold locally.
Car has rebuilt transmission with <35k, new short block installed at 71k, top end rebuilt at 135k, the body has 165k. This is a 5.7L V8 (RPO L98) with an automatic transmission. I have a large folder of receipts close to an inch thick for the car from myself and previous owners totaling well over $6000 worth of work in the past 5-6 years. In addition to the transmission and engine work, the heater core has been done, along with the EGR valve, lower ball joints, upper and lower radiator hoses, throttle pos. sensor, coolant temp. sensor, new tires in front, and several others (hatch motor, water pump, etc.).
This was originally a California car and has only been in MN for 9 months, I previously had it in MO. It is completely rust free and hasn't seen snow in my care. You can view the clean CarFax I have from before I bought the car two years ago. Car has power everything, black interior, t-tops, the dash only has one small crack on the corner of the driver's side. I don't need to sell...but I bought a C5 and don't really have room for three cars.
Car is located in Oakdale, MN 55128. Want $4200, very little room on price, cash only, title in hand.

It has been repainted, I'm not sure exactly when (not since I've owned it, ~2 years). I'll look through the receipts, ...if I find a date I'll post back.

The yellow ones were always awesome. There was only one in town back in the day and it and my black one were the two best looking cars in town. Your car looks great.

Thanks guys. The pics were taken about 6 weeks ago. Fortunately the snow has been gone for a few weeks now and it finally seems like Spring has arrived.
Wasn't able to find a date for when the car was painted.
Forgot to mention earlier, car also comes with a cover. It was always garaged in my possession, I just used the cover to keep some dust and such off of it while I was working on other stuff.

I've been looking for an IROC like this for a while, but I'm in Texas. I don.t mind traveling to get the right car at the right price, but I have to figure transportation cost in my limited IROC budget. Can you tell me what is the nearest major airport to you? Your about 1100 miles from me, shipping the car would probably be in the $800~$900 range. Is the car road worthy enough to drive cross country if I were ably to work a deal with you for th car? Do you have a history report on the car?Since I've been shopping cars, I have an account with Auto Check, if you want send me the VIN and I will run it and send you a copy for your records.

For the benefit of others: Nearest airport is Minneapolis/St. Paul, the car is <30min drive from there. I feel the car is solid, and there's nothing I'm aware of that would prevent me from taking it on a longer drive.
