if i can sell this in time to put the money toards a work truck, i will sell it. if if don't then it will be pulled from the market.
This is a true 1992 Z28 Z03 heritage car with a 350 TPI. With only 48K actual miles. I am the 2nd owner. I've had it for almost a year and i've put almost 1k miles on it to date. Its bright red with black stripe package, and grey leather interior. 350 TPI L98 with 700r4 auto trans. This car is strong for being bone stock.
When i bought it, the brakes had been redone, turned rotors and bads, lines... the fuel pump had been replaced and the lines blown out before it ever was started. prior to this, the car sat for almost 6 years down in daytona fl, under a tarp. Needless to say the salt water climate wasn't very nice to the metal in some areas. The car needs some rust repair. it has 2 small holes in the roof, and at the front edge of the hood, which were both temp fixed with glass bondo. drivers side floor has split on the seams from water gettin in and sitting on the floor. and im sure one or both front fenders will need worked over or replaced. the paint is pretty much shot from the sun. and i would recommend a full body resto.. there is one split on the dash pad which could be fixed, and the drivers seat is torn up from a heavy owner. the rest of the interior is great besides the carpet. i replaced both window motors. Had power windors mirrors and doo locks, along with trunk release which the motor isnt working. i have it set to close all the way without the motor functioning. day before i bought the car the owner cracked the back window, and i replaced it with one from a 1992 RS. the trim around the glass needs painted black again. and the deck lid will need to be taken off and resealed. 4 wheel disc brakes. I also replaced the headliner.
I'm sure most people on here know what this car could bring in restored condition. I however dont have the time or money currently to complete the work needed. and i dont want to see it get any worse than it is.
the wheels show ageing, but not one curb mark, body is perfectly straight, everything lines up perfect, no accidents, no door dings... was one clean car before it sat.
