86 Camaro V6 5spd manual trans.
Hey guys, im looking at selling my 86 camaro. its a v6 with a 5spd man. trans. I've owned it for 5 years, passes smog no problem. 216k miles. I bought it from a friend who was stationed at the Lemoore Naval Air Station in Lemoore, CA. He said he had the engine rebuilt 1 year before he sold it to me. I've put 80k miles on it since then. I have no proof of the engine rebuild however.
Clean title in hand.
The car runs great, and i've replaced/repaired more than i'd like to remember lol. Here is a list of what i've done (hopefully i can remember it all)
Past year:
New radiator
Water Pump
Thermostat
Upper radiator hose
Harmonic Balancer
Replaced ignition switch
16" Iroc-Z wheels
2-Sumitomo HTR+ W-Rated 245/50-16 tires. (6 months ago)
Front brake pads/resurfaced rotors
Sony CD Stereo with AUX input
Alpine 6x9 speakers
Sony 4x6 speakers
Hood Struts
Duralast Battery
Past 2 years:
MSD Street Fire ignition coil
Ignition module
Dist. Cap/Rotor
Rear brake shoes
Rebuilt rear differential
Trans. Mount
Spark plugs/wires
Past 3 years:
MagnaFlow Catalytic Converter
MagnaFlow Exhuast.
New headliner
Rear hatch window tint. Pretty dark.
Windows tinted. very light.
There may be more but I can't remember at the moment.
The camaro is my daily driver and runs great, but it is not without its flaws.
The alignment is out, and it needs parts to align it. 1 outer tie rod, idler arm, center link. The shocks and struts are also weak.
I have no idea if the AC works because there isn't a belt on the compressor and i never bothered to try it out, since the weather is usually cold here.
The rear hatch lock doesn't work. But the hatch does open (via the button)
Cosmetically its in overall great shape. The interior is in great shape except for a few cracks in the dash and the driver seat is ripped. The interior is black vinyl.
Exterior is good except for a dent in the drivers side rear quarter panel. i popped it out as much as i could. there are also a few small dings here and there.
I am asking $2,300 OR BEST OFFER. I will also trade for a Kawasaki Ninja 650r or similar bike. . Located in Salinas, CA (Monterey Bay area)
I only have a few pics of the car at the moment. ill take some more and will upload when I get the chance or you can message me for some.
Thanks!
