1991 CAMARO Z28 CONVERTIBLE SOLD!!

AFTER 16 YEARS IT IS TIME TO PUT OUR Z28 UP FOR SALE.

We are the second owners of this vehicle that we purchased from the Chevrolet dealer in San Jose, California in 1996.

The car was driven daily by me from that time until 2002. The fuel pump stopped working and I wanted another new car so I parked this in our garage, covered it and it has not been driven or started since that time.
The car is in good shape overall but will need a few things to make it real nice.

The car is all stock except for an upgraded stereo head unit (we have the original OEM stereo of course) a mobile phone that was installed in 1997 and an Alpine Alarm System. I didn’t like the original wheels that came on this car so I changed them out for the 16" OEM IROC wheels in 1996. Also, I upgraded the emblems from the 5.0 to the 5.7 style thinking that one day I would also upgrade the engine size. This never happened as it has the factory installed 5.0 TPI. Everything else you see is stock from the factory with no upgrades, changes, etc.

The paint is original and the car has never seen an accident or had any additional paint or body work. What you see is all factory original.

The interior wood kit was a dealer installed option that cost $850.00 when sold new in 1991. It is rare Zimbrano wood and looks awesome with the red paint.

The top is almost perfect & dark black with no wear because it was under a cover and in a garage for these many years.

The interior is very clean with no rips and has the original GM floor mats that are in great shape.

The car does not run and will need to be trailered to your location.

Here is an honest list of what I believe the car needs to be back to good cosmetic/running condition:

-Drivers side window motor no longer works
-Battery
-The chrome wheels need to be re-chromed to make them nice and bright
-Fuel Pump
-The rear spoiler clear coat is pealing off. This part needs to be taken off, re-clear coated or restored.
-Tires need to be replaced in the next 5-10K miles
-Fluids should be changed out with fresh fluids.

Overall this is a nice car that would make a great restoration project. I would rate the overall condition of this car a 7 out of 10 being factory showroom new.

The car has 142K miles and of course this is the total miles since sold new.

We are moving soon so I would like to sell this now so we don't have to move this.

We are located in Orcutt, California which is on the coast half way between L.A. and San Francisco. The closest large city is Santa Maria or Santa Barbara.

If you have been looking for a nice solid car to start a project or light restoration and are on a budget then I think this car might be the one for you.

All paperwork, manuals, receipts, etc since new are included. The car has been kept on a "non-operational" status with the California DMV each year since 2003 so the registration is no problem. We complete documentation of this car and the cars history that will go.

Thanks, and enjoy the 28 pictures that show condition, etc
I'm asking $3750.00 OBO

Re: 1991 CAMARO Z28 CONVERTIBLE

Good God this '91 Z28 is BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!! I live in L.A. but I have no decent place to put it. and I'm not married yet, my dream is when I get married to get my wife a Teal Z28 Convertible, but red works too. Not alot of them with the Wooden kit, I may not be able to get it now but one day I'll own at least 2, a '91 Vert for her and a '92 Vert for me *Bump* for a Gorgeous Example. I hope it gets a great home.

Re: 1991 CAMARO Z28 CONVERTIBLE

If by some chance you wanted to take over payments on my 2007 Cobalt SS ($180 per month for another 3.5 years) I would trade for this.
