I have had a few offers, nothing serious....yet

 

What specifically needs to be finished?

 

The car is 95% wired. It needs the pigtail attached to the Holley EFI, then run to the fans and fuel pumps so the Holley can control them both. Gauge wiring needs to be run to sensors.

needs the intake/tb bolted up. Needs front motor accessories bolted up. I have all gaskets and bolts for this. Need to measure and purchase an accessory belt. I have radiator hoses from the SBC setup, not sure if they will work.

Needs carpet installed (which is brand new and trimmed to fit), fluids topped off.

Needs a tune. Hyperaktive owes me a base tune. He will install base tune remotely. Then the Holley will self learn. And from the results of some other Holley users, the self learn works pretty damn well.

That's really it. One good weekend and it could be done and running. I have totally lost interest at this point. Poor car has been sitting like this since April while I'm out riding my Harley!

 

I have a '99 HD FXDX that I might be interested in trading if you have any interest...

I too put the F-bodies to the side and went the bike route.....for years....now I am back in the F-body mood.

Finally got a chance to go through most of your pics last night. I would be looking to put back the heater box, speedo, etc. Was the harness cut in spots to entirely remove everything needed for those? I'd love to get A/C in it too, but heat and speedo are the first priority.

 

The entire harness was gone through and all the wires removed for the parts that I removed off the car. the purpose was to get the car as light as possible to race in a certain class. So, no the wires are not in the car. However, because we didn't "chop" anything, they could probably be put back in.

The heater box was sold locally, and the speedo was traded to ThirdGen Ranch. The car hasn't had a/c since 1997 lol

Heads were taken off, valve jobbed and cleaned. Motor is going together soon!
