1985 Camaro
1985 Camaro I bought it with a 305 with what I was told was a blown head gasket. After taking the motor apart I discovered it had been run with an obvious to large of a shot of nitrous and there was much more internal damage, so I decided to just put a 350 in it. 350 is brand new and has less then 100 miles on it. Transmission is an automatic with a shift kit in it. Shifts very firm and solid absolutely no slippage. I've been doing a lot of odds and ends with it as well. Brand new windshield installed by a professional installer, new sway bar end bushings, and i also have new rear struts that have not been installed yet. There is also a brand new exhaust on the car. Anything that could have possibly failed for inspection has been meticulously gone over and was just inspected at the end of September. There are little odds and ends left on this car such as the tachometer needs to be adjusted as does the fuel guage but nothing that will keep you from driving it.
