For Sale:

1984 Camaro Convertible (not a factory vert, but a conversion done by Matrix 3)

This is a project car, and is NOT RUNNING. Car has an ignition problem that I've not been able to track down. The car was running last year, but an electrical problem grounded it, and I've simply run out of money and time to investigate. The car came with a 305 and has had an engine transplant. I know less than I should about this motor, but I know it is a 70's era 350 warmed up and rebuilt. This vehicle also has an automatic transmission. I will do my best to describe this car's current condition:

The Good:
Engine is a rebuilt 350 w/ about 500 miles on it.
Transmission rebuilt and also has about 500 miles on it.
Interior has been replaced, is all gently used or new.
Has very little rust compared to other cars of this age from the midwest
Comes with 3 sets of wheels, one set being gently used IROC wheels
Comes with spare rear end and suspension parts of unknown condition
Original dash with very little wear, only one small crack
Exhaust is stainless steel with headers.

The Bad:
Transmission pan has a bad seal.
Power steering has a mild leak.
Unknown ignition malfunction.
Car has mild dents and dings, especially around the front.
Paint is about half original, half white primer.
Radio is missing, radio wiring is a mess.
Convertible cloth top has been removed for repairs, is in poor shape and likely not usable.

As I said, the car is not currently running, but was prior to the electric malfunction. It also does not have a viable soft top and thus wouldn't sit well outdoors.

The business:
The vehicle currently resides in Crawfordsville, Indiana
I CANNOT transport or deliver. You must arrange pickup of the vehicle.
I believe the car has around 195,000 miles, but it is not close enough to me to check exactly.
The car has a clean and clear Indiana title.

I had a lot of trouble setting the price for this car, as it has quite a few new parts, but is also not in running condition. So I will begin by asking about what I have put into it already. So...

The price is $1500 OBO. If you are interested, make any reasonable offer, I need this vehicle gone soon.
