Not to be rude, but after looking at the photos, I think you're going to have a tough time selling this at $7k firm. Yes, it's a 5 speed L69 IROC with t-tops, overhead console, and Lear Siegler seats, but it's also a manual window non-A/C car that needs bodywork, all-over repaint, possibly a dash pad and steering wheel, upholstery work, weather stripping, and probably some other odds and ends. Properly done, someone is going to have to put $10K easy into this car to make it nice, and there are some very nice low mileage, original IROCs out there in the upper teens price range. Just my $0.02, you can always try at it $7k, and reduce from there.
Good luck with your sale, it would be a nice car if properly restored.
My advice would be to at the very least clean the car so it presents well if you are going to ask top dollar for it. A good engine degreasing would also make a world of difference but at the end of the day it's what the buyer has to spend to purchase it and to bring it back vs. what a shiny well preserved car will cost him. GLWS
I absolutely love this car, and I made a 5k offer on it over a year ago when it first popped up. I understand his hold out on the price. Just like my 85 Sliver, hardtop, LSC, rear wiper, car that needs paint. Comes down to the question. Go find another.
Rare doesn't mean much if you live in the central to southern parts of the country. It doesn't matter how cool a car is, if you sweat profusely the car will sit instead of being driven.

I know of a black/red LSC L69 5 speed car that needs nothing, for $15k. If you have to pay to get everything done, you couldn't do this car for $15k plus the price to buy it. At $7k he'll own it forever..

Totally agree with Arnold. This car has been for sale for a long time. Spend a few hours or days and make the car look it's best and take some better pics. A good vacuuming works wonders. You still may not get $7K, but at least it would be sellable - which now, it really isn't. Just some friendly advice. GLWS!

Considering the car's needs, that's more than a fair offer. My advice to the seller, call this guy and take his money!
I think its a super cool car. If I didn't already have and restored mine, I would be a buyer. I agree, if someone is looking for a nice driver and not planning on a major restoration, you may find a better deal. But someone like my self that would restore the complete car its a fair price for a rare car.
