My dad used to own a silver 85 iroc with the H.O 5-speed about 8 years ago or so. He got rid of it about 5 years ago because at the time it had about 160k miles and was giving him problems constantly. This was the 1st camaro I 'fell in love with'. I know the kid who my dad sold it to and where it ended up after him. It had been sitting in the side lot of a garage for a few years until recently. I went to the garage to ask if they got rid of it and they did. And of course, he didn't have the guy's number. I know this is rather far-fetched but has anyone in the philadelphia/tri-state area seen this car? There were only about 2,500 L69(all manual) cars in 85 and who knows how many of those are silver. I thought it'd be a cool idea to track it down and fix it up if the body isnt rusted out. And if anyone knows where there are any fairly low mileage 85 5spd Irocs around let me know. It would be a great help.

by the way, it probably still has a Corvette Club of Delaware Valley sticker on the side of the rear hatch or the mark from where it was. once my dad put it on, it was impossible to get off.

My dad found his old car the other day. He was driving home from his friends house and it was in the same housing development. He stopped and talked to the guy about it. He said he bought it a couple months ago and he's turning it into a drag car. He's got a 500+ hp BB motor that he's gonna throw into it hopefully for next summer. The car has def. seen better days but I'm just glad its not crushed. My dad might see if he still has the old drivetrain to put it in our 88 Iroc Vert project cause he wants a 5spd in it.
