Looking for an 85-87 IROC with t-tops. Really want an 86 IROC but will take 85 or 87. I live in Youngstown Ohio so the closer the better. I'm looking to spend up to $3000 but would like to stay around $2000-$2500.

 

I always see one on Meridian somewhere between Mahoning and the trash dump in Girard. It needs some work, but its an 86 iroc with a 350.

 

I see that car too. its an 87 though and its a pile. No title, the bodys crap, and the interior has seen better days. but thanks

 

How about the redish/maroon one at a used car lot on 224 in Canfield. Looks very nice when drivin by, but I havent stopped to take a closer look yet.

 

That car is way nice. It has a small dent in rear quarter and I would prefer the iroc rims over chrome, but it is really nice with low miles. To pricey for me though, $4700. THanks again

I have an '89 RS (Tennessee car - NO RUST WHATSOEVER) in the Cleveland, OH area. Had it trailered here, never seen an Ohio winter / salted roads.

2.8 MPFI V6 / 5 speed car - 125,00 miles - Runs GREAT / doesn't smoke !
T-tops - Red paint / red interior... dent on driver's door (softball sized)

The paint is chipping on the urethane header panel and interior needs a little TLC (carpet, headliner, dashpad)

Well my favorite year is 86. 1986 camaro was my first car. I prefer the round shifter and the back hatch third brake light. The iroc rims from 85-87 where the same. And since the only visual difference on the out side is the hatch, its close enough. I know that 82-92 all are very similiar but they all have slightly different qualities. For example in 84 the speedometer had a double sided needle that showed mph and kph. In 88 they changed the iroc rims and did away with the Z28. In 1990 they came out with the different instrument cluster and had airbags. I know I could get different rims and change the hatch and etc.... But thats money and time. Don't get me wrong if I can find the wright 88 or 89 i will take it.I originally was going to say just 86 but that would limit me to much.And in all honesty i would buy any Iroc that looked and ran good enough.

i have an 87 iroc, 350 tpi, headers, no ac, factory rims and t-tops. it's black with 138,000. it needs a little interior work and a paint job (minor dents, dings and paint chipping) if interested than let me know, i'm in WV.
