Looking for any type of Camaro that has a good body and NO RUST to build a pretty sweet street/strip car. I'm not concerned about mileage, interior, or paint condition...but the car cannot have rust or huge dents or need alot of body work.

Preferably a car that runs as is. Looking to spend between $1000-$2000(max) because i'd plan on putting about 2-4k into the drivetrain.

Also, at the moment i think i'm only interested in cars that are no more than 3-4 hours away from Allentown,PA (about an hour north of Philly).

Just curiouse, what kind of drive train are you thinking of installing that is not just stock stuff for 2-4K?

My dad has a built 396 from a 70 SS chevelle in our garage, so thats one option. If i went that route, all i would need is a beefy trans and rear end.

Another option would be to buy & build up a 350 or L98 and bolt it to a shift kitted/stalled 700r4 with a 4th gen rear.

Final option would be to buy an ebay LT1/trans combo and 4th gen rear (probably the most expensive).

I dont really have the means to get the car at the moment (no transportation) and me getting another Camaro is contingent upon a few things which havent really worked themselves out yet so i'm definitely not gona be able to buy the car from you within your time frame, if at all.

my friend has a 1992 V6 camaro, has i think now it has 92 or 93k on it. hes repainting the car. its in primer right now. I think he wants 1500. has some rust on the floor boards. not that bad though. I have a rebuilt 350 bored to a 355ci with a fuel injected block only has 10mi on motor. has a carb set up though. Id like 900 since its a 1500 dollor motor. Im in pa also and so is he

I have a nice running 89 RS with the 305 tbi motor. the 700R4 was rebuild in april and has less about 7K miles on it. it has t-tops and 15x8 TT 2 wheels all around. it's a good car i've been asking $2,500 for it.
