WTB Good Running TPI Car in Florida
WTB Good Running TPI Car in Florida
I live in the Daytona Beach area. I have 1800$ to spend. I'm not too concerned with paint or interior, just needs to have a sound drivetrain.
Will take a 305 or a 350.
If you have an 85-87 with the Carburator I may be interested.
Thanks,
Dan

I have a maroon 91 Z28, 305 TPI, 5 spd, with 4 wheel disc brakes. Its a hardtop with a black interior. Car runs like a top and has cold ac.
no power options though, but I did add the remote hatch release.
Paint is shot, but the underneath is clean.
Has a 4th gen rear, and I'm running salad shooters on all four corners.
Upgrades: Spohn Panhard Bar, LCA's and LCA relocation brackets welded on. Hotchkis STB, Weld in SFC's, Poly bushings through out. Rear Bilstein Shocks, elcheapo monroe on the front. Car is lowered about 2", and handles great. Walbro Fuel pump with Racetronix hotwire kit. It has a TDS wonderbar on it too.
The bad: the paint, as stated. Headliner is falling down, wear mark on the seats. About the size of a dime. Dash pad is cracked, armrest is fine though.

I've driven to Connecticut (from New Jersey) and back in about the same time. Does Florida have that much traffic.....?

4 hrs isn't that bad. My last project I picked up from Miami, which is 2.5 hrs from me. I drove down, checked it out and bought it.
Then went back two weeks later and towed it home. Some things are worth the trip
