The 4-cylinder model, that is.
82 prefered, 83-85 acceptable.

Re: WTB: "Iron Duke" Camaro
I'm trying to figure out why all of a sudden everyone wants an iron duke. There's two of you guys looking for an iron duke Camaro, and one guy looking for an iron duke Firebird right now.
Is it the rarity?
Is it the rarity?
Re: WTB: "Iron Duke" Camaro
For my part it is in this case the rarity.
I am collecting a "straight" of sorts: it being to have a Camaro from each generation. 1 and 3 are still missing...
So far I haven´t been able to pin point what 3rd gen I really want, so I´ve decided it might as well be the poorest/worst Camaro ever made.
If I could find a 82-83 2bbl - that would be the bomb!
-edit- my second favourite for a third gen is a 2-seater convertable from 82-86, but let´s try to find an Iron Duke first.

Re: WTB: "Iron Duke" Camaro
I knew of ONE guy who had one a few years ago. Initially, I thought it was a modified attempt at getting better MPG by ragtagging a thirdgen. The car was a POS, and ironically - the owners name was Duke ontop of that. Found out later what it was, and still has me scratching my head.

Re: WTB: "Iron Duke" Camaro
I had a buddy in high school who had an iron duke firebird with a 4 speed. It was an 82. I had an 82 Z28 with the LG4 dog of a motor. I think the iron duke was faster. LOL!!
