Looking for project car, prefer running/drive-able enough to get it home, doesn't necessarily have to be daily drive-able(for example crappy brakes or a trans issue or something that you wouldn't want to deal with daily, but can at least make it from A to B if you have to.)

I would prefer a TPI engine and a stick shift, but realistically the drivetrain will probably get swapped out anyways, so I am flexible, but would prefer something I can enjoy in the meanwhile, and swapping manual trans into a car that already had one is easier. The deal breakers for me are that it must have t-tops, and the body and interior have to be at least decent, I don't want something rotted out like the 85 I had. Also prefer current or at least recent state inspection. I would prefer within state, but am willing to consider cars in neighboring states, also may consider Firechickens, I mean birds.

I am alternately looking for an AWD manual DSM, or a 3000GT vr4/Stealth RT/TT if you happen to know of one for sale close to that price range. For a 3s if its decent and in my price range, distances doesn't matter, those are hard to find and I would be willing to ship one.

I'm not looking for a gem, just looking for something I can work with and don't have to completely rebuild immediately to be able to enjoy at all.
