Red Deer, quite a drive
I finally made it to Red Deer. I have been here for over a week now.
I drove up in my 92 bird and burned $500 worth of gas on the 5330km trip from Newfoundland.
Anyone on this forum from Red Deer?

That works out to about 9.4 cents a KM.
I live east of red deer, where are you working, you must have drove that far for something good?
As for cheap mechanics I'm not sure there is a such thing. There is a mechanic at the auto wrecker by my place. It's called Alix auto. They are so cheap for parts I don't imagine it's too expensive, most small towns are cheaper for labour anyway.
Did you manage to find a place to live?

I think Iroctopless is near there isn't he?
Hey, another newfie moves to Alberta, what a shock eh? Out of curiosity, are you a welder?
Hmm, i'd totally do your head gasket for ya, but i'm not a mechanic, and not in Red Deer
