Wanted 350 roller short block in the Calgary area
I live in Medicine Hat and am looking for a decent condition 350 short block for my 1990 GTA.
I am looking for something that I can just basically bolt all my parts on to and will last me a year or two. I know its a long shot but you never know.
Looking to spend under $500. If its too expensive I would just rebuild the block I have. I don't even know if it needs a rebuild but I think it may have a spun bearing plus it has almost 240,000kms on it. It seems to run ok when it is cold but when it gets warm and you step on the engine does not want to rev. I do know my transmission is on the way out, not sure if that has anything to do with it.
So I guess I should also say I am looking for a 700r4 also, if I can find one for less than the cost of rebuiling my own.
Sorry for being a cheap @ss but these problems arose after I purchased alot of parts to redo the top end
. I am putting a new intake (LT1), cam, lifters, springs, studs, rockers, headers, timing chain & water pump on it this winter.
p.s I have a 430 big block, complete, needs rebuild (380hp, 475lbs torque
approx) and a th400 that I could use as a trade/partial trade.
