box carpet
I just built another box for my sub this weekend and i need to cover it with some carpet. I have the grey interor and i was woundering where ya'll got your carpet to cover the boxes at? Is it household carpet or actual car carpet?

You can usually find a wide variety at a large hardware store. Pretty much any un-backed carpet will do. Try to get something without a directional backing for sure. You've seen house carpet with the crossing weave on the back right? Avoid that, it's hard to use on a speaker box (and looks cheesy). I can't find any pictures of what I'm talking about, but hopefully you know what I mean.

Try a car audio shop that does installs. I know that most of the custom type shops, and at least a few of the chain stores like Columbus Car Audio will sell carpet for boxes. You can also get it from places like www.crutchfield.com
I have never bought carpet at the hardware store, so I don't know what they have, but definately try to get stuff that matches your carpet in the car so it looks as clean as possible. Later
