pointing 6x9s to the front?
pointing 6x9s to the front?
I've got a great pair of alpine 6x9s but it feels like a waist when they're just shooting straight at eachother back behind your head. It sounds a lot better if you're in the back seat. Is there a way to point them up towards the front a little more but still leave them in the stock location? I was thinking it may be possible to shim on side where it screws down but I'm not sure if the cover would still fit on then. Any ideas?

I think the idea of shims sounds pretty good. I am going to be getting some new JBL 6X9's here pretty soon and I also want to try to get them to point to the front. Let me know if it works for you.

if you do that, you may have problems getting the factory groll covers back on. i had a set of 6x9s that stuck out quite a bit when mounted and they kinda poked the cloth forward
