Alpine Type R or S? DVC 2-Ohm or 4-Ohm? Help!
Ok... I'm selling my RF Punch HE 12 and RF Punch 100.2 Amp to my friend for $225 =) The stuff is not messed up whatsoever... anywayz... I'm gonna go with an Alpine Type-R 12" Sub. There is the DVC 4-Ohm... and DVC 2-Ohm... the amp I'm gonna buy to power it is the US Acoustics USX2100... 300x1.... 100x2.... 150x2 at 2 ohms... the Alpine Type-R sub is 300W RMS... 1000W Max... it says in Crutchfield that the power handling is for both coils combined... so if RMS is 300W... and the 2-Ohm rating on the amp is 150Wx2 wouldn't this be a good match for amp and sub?

you want to run at 2 ohms and get the most out of your new amp you must get the 4 ohm dvc because in the manuel they will tell you how to wire your new speaker the right way
the a 4 ohm dvc sub you can either run at 2 ohms or 8 ohms
you want to run at 2 ohms
and get the Type R
