what size speakers does my car take? It's a 1989 IROC-Z. i'm getting new speakers all around.

next, what is generally considered to be the overall best brand of speakers, for a moderate price? our cars are the best bang for the buck, what is their equivalent in the car audio world?

 

all i can say on which is the best speaker...is it really comes down to what you like,just go and listen to a few speakers at a car audio place and see what you like.

I believe all third gens have 6x9's in the back and 4x6's in the dash.
