Tubes or Box
Tubes or Box
I just bought a 10" powered(100watts) Bazooka on ebay.I was thinking of having two of these suckas in the back. Will they fit if their on top of each other?Wich is the best position for them for the best sound? Also what size amp should I feed them with.Your expertise is much appreciated.
bazooka
So if I connect them to an amp, will that pop the speakers?
I knew this guy that had a 8"powered pioneer tube connected to an amp and he said that it sounded better with the amp.
Thanks for the 411.

well you can use an extra amp im pretty sure, what i would do is disconnect it from the built in amp(i dont know if you can run 1 speaker with 2 amps, someone else can correct me i guess) and just tun another amp to it with the other sub youre gonna get- but it seems like kinda a waste of money to me,since powered amps are more expensive to begin with,to get an external amp ang just waste the one it came with-i dont know just my 2 cents
but now i see you got it off of ebay so you probably got a good deal.
also it will only pop the ssubs if you go above its max watts,so say if it can handle 300 watts, and you run the built in 100 watt amp with say a 400 watt amp, youll probably blow it.
