i had planned on using a perfect 12.1, but since ive decided to use the 1200.1 as my sub amp, im not sure what to use anymore to take advantage of the new power... im looking for a single 12, with the emphasis being on SQ.. and box space around 1.0-1.5 cubic feet.. im open to any suggestions, right now im thinking of around 300-400 for the price, but like i said.. dont hold something back simply because of the price..

summary: whats a good 12" SQ sub that can handle the power of jbl's 1200.1?

 

You just described an Adire Brahma 12". Put it in a 0.9ft^3 box with the ~1300rms from the jbl amp and you will have great SQ and TONS of output. Don't worry, the brahma will laugh at the 1300rms.

 

spectacular, thats kind of what i was leaning towards, but ive never actually seen one before, much less heard it.. and of course, nobody local actually has this sub.. soo.. any ideas on where i can pick it up?

are the only places to buy them that I am aware of. I haven't heard them either, but I have yet to hear anything less than: all :hail: the brahma. So I will just believe its a good driver.
