im looking at the mrv-t420, which says it puts out 75x2 at 12v and 110x2 at 14.4.. is that at all under rated? cause im hoping for around 90-100 at 12v.. thanks in advance

 

I know the old V-12 amps were underratted. My 30x2 was 50x2. But I haven't had any experience with the 2002 models. Looking from their low power output specs, I would hope that they are underrrated. If your buying from a shop, ask to look at it before you buy. The old amps came with a test sheet in the box showing actual RMS watts that that particular amp put out. Make sure you check the serial number on the test sheet to the one on the amp's chassis.
