you can go to any stereo shop and get one for about $60. check ebay too, they've got them alll the time. i wanna get one because i wanna keep my stereo reception, yet get rid of the ugly stalk when i'm parked.

 

Be careful. I tried to mount an aftermarket power antenna in my 88 after the factory one died, and I couldn't get it to fit right. There's bracing inside the fender that requires the antenna to have a longer than usual stalk for the mast that makes it near impossible to fit an aftermarket one in there. I ended up buying a replacement from the dealer, but it was $100.00 I saw a new one for sale on the classified board a week later for $45.00 Just my luck. Look around and try to find a factory one if you can.

 

i was referring to ones that are special fit for camaros/firebird. i've heard of the same probs.
