Help with RCA wiring!

I am installing Infinity component speakers in my doors and powering them with a Sony 222 watt amp. Everything was going fine until I realized something... My head unit only has ports for one set of RCA wires. So I can't have my sub and the crossovers both going. I was wondering if i could splice the two sets of RCA wires together, because I do NOT have the money to go and buy a $300 head unit with dual RCA's. Thanks for the help guys!

you mean join them together going into the back of the headunit? yes, that will work, just buy two y-adapters (radioshack, whatever)--one for each channel--and you'll be set. you wont be able to use the fader and such, but.. i never do anyway, and i dont think its that big of a deal...

you could invest in a crossover with low/mid/high/full outputs. You can usually get a decent one for under a $100 and then you will be able to upgrade in the future as well and not have to worry about crossovers for each frequency then.
