Antenna removal help

How is the antenna removed from my car? Do I just take off the inner wheel well? How is the wheel well attached? Will I be able to get at the unit to unbolt it that way? How about running the new cable from the antenna to the radio? Thanks for your help.

The inner fender is held in with plastic push buttons. You can replace them from any autoparts store. You should be able to get to it. I've only done it with the fender off though, which by the way is a pain in the *** to do. Running a new antena wire isn't a big deal. Pretty easy.
