I have the Phoenix Gold QX series amp its the one that will do 150x2 or 350x1

it does 350x1 at 4 ohms bridged

and I also have the kicker comp VR 12" DVC Sub.

Here is a link to their chart Kicker Chart How would I wire the sub to get max power.

simple answer please, red, red, black, black blah blah is what I'll understand. I'm not good with the series/parallel stuff,

What ohm coils is your VR's? From that link it looks like they have dual 4ohm and dual 2ohm. Find out which it is. Then we can help.

if they are dual 2ohms do from VC#1(voice coil) + to the amp then from the - from VC#1 go to the + on VC#2 and then from - on VC#2 go to the amp. should be 4ohms. you could check it too with an ohm meter if you have acces to one.
