We are very informational, with a touch of humor
. Speaking of information, has anyone ever heard/used a brand called Boss? A friend of mine has one that is 600x2 that he will trade me straight across for my Sony. The only thing I see wrong with this is that he only paid $200 for it, so I feel that it's not gonna be very good, following the "you get what you paid for" motto. It would still be more powerful than my Sony, and at an assumed 300 watts per channel, I could run each coil off a channel and not have to worry about parallelling or series-ing or anything like that. plus, its chrome
lol. Gotta have good looks along with the power. Any info on Boss?

Comparibly speaking, you'er MUCH better off with the Sony.
This I know is true, and if anyone cares to argue about that, then they must have bought a Boss and are now trying to defend their mistake.
Again, I'm sorry I was mistaken about wiring a DVC by using only one coil, but running an amp like Boss amp to an Alpine sub is like putting a Ford engine in a Chevy car. Bass Ackwards.

Ya but it's CHROME!! LOL j/k. I hate how looks mean so much now days on EVERYTHING. Mabye I'll do a listen test before I switch then. It sounded like a pretty decent trade to me, considering my Sony is suposedly pushing 190x2@2 ohms, or 380x1@2 ohms, and the Boss will suposedly do 300x2@2 or 4 ohms, not sure which, I'll have to check that out. But ya, if a bunch of people say that I should keep my sony, then I'll definately do a test before I trade. How much does one of those little hodiekys cost that measures the wattage? I'll use one of them to see what we'd be pushin.
And once agian, don't worry bout the sub man, WARRANTY
. It was an experement gone wrong, a test to see who was right, I knew I had the warranty so I wasn't worried about it. If I didn't have the warranty I wouldn't have done it, woulda just done the one channel per coil and left it at that till I could get sumthin better.
