Right now everything is stock except the X-Plod head unit... I can't wait to get them (in the mail) and I want to know if I'll hear the difference... I'd imagine everything will be a little more on the treble side?

If you still have factory stuff, you should see a great upgrade over the old paper stock cones...I think you'll be quite pleased.

I can't wait... due in 2 days... They'll be going in the second they arrive... I also pick up a paycheck that day, and I'll know what my books are going to cost for school... hopefully I'll be able to buy some 6X9's too.

My first system was Kicker impulse 4X6's and 6X9's. They are a huge step up from stock speakers. They will sound much better - specially if you put an amp on them.
But later on i wanted more bass upfront and precise highs - and all that good stuff. So i started looking into components and kick panels by djsexay back then. I sold my 4X6's and got the components. It costs a little more when you upgrade as opposed to buying the good stuff first! But everyone learns at their time.
Hopefully u shall be happy with you 4X6's for a longer time!

There is another guy selling them now. DJSexay has passed the job to rezner"someting!"
Just do a search - they should be around $150.

PS Way worth the investment.
