i'm sorry man, but those things are junk. they are all show (sorta) and no go. pyramid is horrible stuff. legacy, same deal. save up some money and pick up some decent stuff. you dont need to amp all of you speakers and sub(s). look around these boards for what others have picked for their systems. to be blunt (and i'm usually not), pyramid = junk

DONT GET THOSE THEY REALLY REALLY SUCK

Theres many good subs out there

My persoal choice is Diamond Audio either an m3 or an m5.
JL Audio's are also good either the w3 or the w7
Or eclipse' makes some damn good stuff

Its hard to find a quality amp that is cheap
here are some you should look at:
Presicion Power (PPI) makes some amazing sutff....i have the 10 year old artists series and they still kick a**

JL is also very good because the engenneers that built the PPI's now work for JL. JL is prolly your best bet.

DO NOT GET ANY AMPS MADE BY SONY THEY SUCK WITH AMPS

I am guessing that since you were looking at pyramid and legacy you dont want to spend alot. I have heard good and bad things about volfenhag subs and you can get 2 12's for about $120. As far as amps go, I would go with the JBL 600.1 you can get that for $205. So for $325 you could have a decent system.
I dont know what kind of sound you are going for so the sub is really what you ear likes best, but I would deffinately go with the JBL amp. You will not find a better amp that pushes around 700rms for 200 bucks.
Let us know what you do and how it sounds.

DO NOT BUY 39 dollar subs. Those POS will blow faster than you can put 'em in your car. I've said before and I'll say it again, you get what you pay for. That's my 2 cents.

right on scrawny,

If your not oging to do it right then don waste your money oding it...save up. Yes is matters that you use the same 2 subs. Different subs have different air space specificatinos, power handeling ect. Go to a quality electronics store( and no best buys and circut city aren't what im talkin about) talk to someone at tweeter for example. expensive yes but they can give you a good idea of what to do. or if you want see if someone you know can do it with you. i made my whole system out of parts from my friends car n got really good subs for 300 bucks. my freind being a former iasca competitior helped me intall it.
