What speakers have the best bass from 6x9's, I have heard that fosgate and kicker have great bass, what about infinity kappas?

How about 4x6's, I know they have no surface area, therefore wont get good bass, but does anyone know anymore than me?

Also, is it worth is going with 3 ways or are 2 ways good enough? Are 3 ways better in the front or the back?

 

Infinity Kappas are top dog in my opinion. The 6x9s have great bass. Of course like you said, 4x6s aren't made for bass, but the 6x9s sound great, especially with an amp.

You can get away with 2 ways, its just personal prefereance. I have directed audio 6x9's and 4 x 6's and they sound pretty decent. But theres is better stuff availible. The infinity's are some of the best out there right now. For the 4 x 6's take a look at boston acustics compononet 4 x 6. the tweeter and mid are seperated on a small plate for less distortion.

pioneer 4 ways!!!! sound great and last forever. hard to find tho.

 

pioneer four ways.. best buy carries them! 113 I think... I've gone with audiobahns acx passive crossover. I haven't mounted them in yet however they are very weighty.. I dunno if the weight is the equal of the boom... I'm working on wiring them in so I can hear how bad *** they sound I'll keep you posted
