Alum10Q with what box?
An Audiobahn Alum10Q. 10 inch dual 6 ohm woofer, handles 800 watts rms. Powered by a Lanzar 1200w amp. The amp will run at approximately 650-700watts at 3ohms. What kind of a box do you think it would sound better in? A sealed box or ported. I know sealed is for more accurate bass and ported for louder bass but with 650-700watts rms, which would you prefer? Do you think it would be loud enough in a sealed enclosure?
Soon I will be running two Alum10Q's both at 650-700rms.
Also, which would be preferable, running the Lanzar 1200watt amp with the 10" or the 12".
Audiobahn ALUM10Q - subwoofers, "(cast 10” dual 6 ohm VC, 800 watts)"
Audiobahn ALUM12Q - subwoofers, "(cast 12” dual 6 ohm VC, 1000 watts)"
Would the loudness and sound quality decrease with the 12" compared to the 10" due to the 12" would be running at half of its rms?

I like sealed boxes.
They make the heart skip...
Ported boxes are just loud....

not always true KJ depends on what size ports and what kind of ports you want i personally like the slot ports......and you can achieve good SQ along with good SPL with 3" port and depending on box height u can adjust the length
