I just replied to another thread about amplifiers.I have been in the mobile electronics field for about 10 years and installed all kinds of amps.Earthquake in my opinion is a very good line because of the quality and price.I am using one Earthquake PHD-2 amp pushing eight Earthquake 12" subs with no problem at all. The ohm load at the amp is .9 ohms, and the amp is handling it very well.I have had the system playing full blast before for hours at a car show and it never once cut out. Most other amps would have shut down in a matter of minutes of hard playing at an ohm load lower than 2. Earthquake is good stuff, and is one of our best sellers at our shop.

I am going to have to recommend the JBL 600.1 for you. Very powerful amp that is underated in power, stays cool, and its quite cheap. My friend uses one in his car and would only trade it out for the JBL 1200.1. Plus, it leaves room incase youo want to upgrade later.

JBL Power 600.1

Marketing 101. Mark it up to $1400, then discount it $1300. You'll sell 3x as many as if you just price it at $100 to being with.

Anybody that honestly thinks they're getting a $1400 amp for $100 is absolutely nuts.
