Got my Cd player back..
I got my cd player back.
I took it back to get repaired.
It started skipping recently on NEW cds!
I took it to them 3 ****ing weeks ago.
I got it back today.
They said there was NOTHING wrong with it and they say it was installed wrong.
HOW the **** can you install a headunit in wrong so that it skips at low volume and when parked??? You cant. (as far as I know).
And the thing is it just started doing this!
I put my old cd player back in. It DIDN'T do it!
Wtf. It obviously wasnt installer error.
This is ****ing bull****.
You know how hard it is to listen to ****ing music with it skipping?
BTW its a Pioneer DEH-P430.
And for all of you that Live in Saskatchewan DON'T buy your **** from ****ing Audio Warehouse. They try to blame the problems on YOU if you install it your self. *******s.

The solution for all the manufacture peoples problems.......
IT'S YOUR FAULT....
Unfortunately there isn't much you can do about it, except the fact of trying to speak with a high-up offcial at the company, they tend to solve problems if you make a big enough deal out of it, they actually care about your business and try to minimize bad publicity, the average repair man Joe Shmoe could care less
Take the problem up with someone higher up the company ladder, cause that is..........

Your radio has a bad/week optical pickup. SEND IT BACK TO THEM and tell them to test it for a long time. Optical pickups are more likely to fail once there “warmed up”. Just tell them that after an hour the CDs will skip. BTW the Pioneer part number for the pickup in the DEH-P430 is CXX1285, just as an FYI. I work in a shop and can tell you this from experience.

I'm gonna re install it and see if it works which is really pretty much gonna be a waste of time time!
Can you actually hook up a cd player wrong so that just cds skip? I really dont think so. If I didnt know how to install them then the 4 cd players in total that I have installed would skip too.
Maybe I should Phone Pioneer and send it to them?
Btw the shop wanted me to get it profesionally installed! LOL.
No thanks.
They probally just wanted ****ing money and they would probally fix whuts wrong with it while it was getting instaled to make me look bad lol.
You shoulda saw the look on his face when he got the cd player out of the back of the store. He was smirking i was about to knock that smirk right off his ****ing face.

That is how they get for people to pay for their RIDICULOUS install prices........
The threaten you......if you do it yourself, we are not going to warranty it........
So they have a loop hole to charge you more, or to buy a new unit.......I would take this problem up with Pioneer, fu*k the audio shop, and go to the source of the problem, the people that made the faulty equipment......

As long as it's still under warranty, you should be able to get it fixed at any authorized repair shop. Also, you may be able to send it back to the mfg to have it fixed.

You are right.
It starts skipping about 15 minutes to 30 minutes of play.
Then it starts skiping CONSTANTly.!
