i have one with the equilizer in it. ill try to find a tape to test it. everything else works

Before you test it, assuming it's not in a car, spray the **** out of the cassette player with electronic parts cleaner, then let dry completely. I have brought a few stufck players back to life this way.

its in the car. im trying to find any cassette tape to test it. back in the 80s i had hundreds. cant seem to find just one! lol

Take your time man. Get with me whenever you find out. I'd rather know that it works instead of buying something that doesn't. I have about 50 tapes and can't listen to them right now when driving lol
