Deck under pass. seat - enough air?

Hey all,

Just got a new deck b/c everything except my speakers was previously stolen. The plan for now is to hide the deck since it has a remote, and leave the stock location looking ravaged, protruding wires and all. Does anyone else have a hidden deck? I'd prefer to keep it close enough to the driver's seat to change cds without stopping the car. I'll only be using the deck's amp until i get some more amps, but even so will three be enough flow?

Thanks a lot!

back in the day when tape decks were cool, I use to take apart cheap am or am/fm radios, and glue the face place and plastic part,***** together. then super glue an old casset tape inside that. When you stick it in your tape deck, it looked like and piece of crap stero and not a nice tape deck.

you ould try that with a cd player, and or still just install and old *** stero in there, so no one can tell.

showing off is the best way to get your stero stolen. Dont brag, dont go pull up everywhere showing off how loud and good it sound, do your self a favor and play it down, say it suck, cost 50 bucks.

Tell me about it - this was a plain jane clarion with all the buttons rubbed off and all the amps were buried under tons of crap - totally couldn't tell. I didn't even have the stereo on all day and parked in broad daylight in a busy queens (yes queens) parking lot. My theory is that somebody just "had to have" the incredibly crappy deck and then discovered the preamp wires and the story tells itself from there. Luckily they didn't take my $300 kicker speakers...the cops came but wouldn't do jack cause it was about 3 weeks after 9/11. So you think the stereo will have enough venting under the seat?

(edited for content, lol)

I've had my RF Punch 100DSM under my pass seat for about 2 yrs now and I've had no problems whatsoever.

ya know im starting to think that amp ventalation is a myth, especially with the tech article on how to put an amp into the back seats of the car... hell the way that looked there was no ventalation at all!!!...

What's wrong with it?

Soon I'll have a pic of my wife standing next to it and you can be sure I'll be using it!! She's just as, if not more beautiful than that WOMAN (not chick ). Are you going to have a problem with my wife being beautiful?

Or does that make it OK because we're married?
