i got a new antenna from GM a couple weeks ago. not exactly the same as old obvioiusly, but it was ok i made it fit.
worked fine-

now, it wont go down. i cant figure it out. i checked the relay, it works fine according to specs.

any ideas? its got to be the antenna but WTF! its brand new!

 

i checked mine to see if it worked before i installed it..

i hooked up a 12 volt source to mine and made sure it went up and down..

 

mine worked after i installed it, for about 2 weeks, worked fine. up and down with the radio just like its supposed to.

then, it just pooped out.
