Customized Junction Block

Went to Home Depot today, got the parts, just wanna know if this is a safe place to put it. On the right side of the trunk, on the hump on the bottom, can that be cut out? That's where I would like to put it. If worse comes to worse, I guess i'll put it in the plastic wall on the right side. Anyone ever try this, or know if this could be done?

My opinion is... wherever you put it it's gonna look bad. It's a piece designed to blend into the design of a home not a car.

I don't know much about audio-- but can't you put that in one of the storage compartments (divers side- and spare tire cell)

Odyssey, in your opinion, what would you do, or do you do to keep your wires in an organized fashion that can be quickly and easily disconnected without leaving the wire mess? ...also of course, the plate will be colored to match the plastic of the trunk.

tyty49, yea that would be as a last resort, i would put it in the spare tire plastic assembly thing, but i really wanna put it where it is in the diagram, where the carpeting is, i just wanna know if that is hollow or is something important in that spot?

I'd go to Radio Shack and get a black plastic plate. It would be a lot smaller and less intrusive in the interior "landscape".

But to be truly honest.. I'd just disconnect the wires and leave em hanging somewhere. lmao

Now that you said that you got a black plastic piece it sounds like it looks alot better. I kinda wanna see where you decide where to put it!

Good Luck

the plastic would be the better of the two places but I wouldn`t see why you couldn`t mount it in the lower spot if you really wanted to it would just mean a lot more work and it would be a lot harder to fix if you ever decided you didn`t like it there
