bought a Pioneer HU......
bought a Pioneer HU......
and i am having trouble with the wiring......i know which ones the speaker wires are but as for the memory, 12v constant, and ACC wires i have no clue....btw i have a 91 RS and it's a pioneer DEH-34.....if anyone can help i'd appreciate it
They should be the same for most head units. On my pioneer it goes like this:
Orange(has inline fuse holder)- 12V constant
Red(has small fuse resistor)- 12 V switched with the ignition
Yellow(small fuse resistor)- To lighting switch terminal/dimmer
Black- Ground
Blue- Remote turn on/power antenna
Hope that helps.

Thats why I like to buy the harness adapter. It makes it so much easier, no guess work. And, for only like 7.00, you cant go wrong.
